Fill the Window: Annual School Supply Drive

Join us this July for Fill the Window, our annual school supply drive supporting teachers and students throughout Jasper County. We invite community members and local businesses to donate essential classroom supplies, ensuring our educators are well-prepared for a successful school year. Donations can be dropped off at the Chamber office, and every item collected will be distributed directly to schools across the county. Together, we can make a meaningful difference in our classrooms and support those who invest in our students every day.

A Community Rooted in Tradition

For six decades, the Deer Festival has been one of Jasper Counties most beloved fall traditions. Held annually on the first Saturday of November in Historic Downtown Monticello, Georgia, the festival began as a celebration of the area’s rich outdoor heritage and has grown into a regional event that attracts thousands of visitor’s each year.

What started as a small community gathering has evolved into a day filled with family-friendly activities, unique shopping, delicious food, and outdoor traditions. Visitor’s travel from across Georgia and neighboring states to enjoy the festival atmosphere, support local businesses, and experience the charm of Monticello’s historic square.

Today the Deer Festival features hundreds of vendors, the Venison Cook-Off, Trophy Wall, Deer Dash & Fun Run, the crowning of the Deer Festival Queen, live entertainment, children’s activities, and much more.     The festival continues to honor the traditions that inspired its beginning while creating new memories for future generations.

We invite you to become part of the longstanding tradition and showcase your products and services to thousands of festival attendees.     Join us as we celebrate community, heritage, and the great outdoors at the Deer Festival - held every year on the First Saturday in November.

We look forward to welcoming you to Jasper County!
